Saragossa Tram earned the Light Rail Awards in the category of ‘World’s Best Project 2012’, one of the most important international awards in urban transport.
The award was presented on the 3rd of October. Well-known manufacturers and suppliers of light metro and trams will attend to the ceremony in London. In a hotly contested final, Saragossa was held the award against other internationally renowned projects like Brest Tram (France) and Casablanca Tram (Morocco) that were highly commended for being finalists.
Metrica as an approved supplier of CAF for engineering services has been active in the Saragossa’S Tram project. Metrica’s Team congratulates the City of Saragossa, in recognition of all participants in the project.
