Spain confirms its recovery in the automotive sector back to the ninth place in the world ranking of car manufacturers. Spain came out of the top-10 in 2012 and now, it returns advancing three places, after an increase in production of 11.85%, which represents 2.6 million car units, very close to the target set at 3 million units.

Recently the Spanish industry was awarded with 12 new models and according to ANFAC, Spanish Association of Car and Truck Manufacturers, next year new assignments will be announced. The Government of Spain has also confirmed direct investments by EUR 5,000 million which will generate 6000 jobs in ancillary industries, maintaining positive expectations for the sector.
